Carefully preserved in the collection of rare books is a furniture pattern book from a series published by R. Ackermann in 1823. The volume includes 44 colored engravings of Fashionable Furniture. Hickory Chair Company’s artists have adapted a 19th-century image from Ackermann’s series to create this dresser.
