The case itself is made from mahogany then it is finished in a silver leaf. Then covered in hand made Viennese mirror cut to fit the openings perfectly. Lastly the hardware is made using the lost wax casting process then polished to perfection then silvered then applied to the case. So the entire outside of the chest is covered in 3 different shades of silver all complimenting each other to make this memorable piece. This is a work of art made individually by hand.
