The solid mahogany legs with stretcher and solid hardwood frame are hand made by the craftsmen in Hickory, North Carolina. The Marlborough style front legs are hand fluted with a block foot and are a signature Chippendale feature that originated in the mid-18th Century. A companion ottoman is also available as 1756-89.
